Christmas 2013

Mark's parents came to Kansas for Christmas this year - we had a very nice visit! Shelby was very excited to see her grandparents!

We had a doctors appointment while they where here, so they got to see the babies :) It was a good check up - All good news! They are breathing, moving and getting good blood flow from both cords! I can't believe how close their arrival is!

New House in Huntsville

We just decided on a house to rent in Huntsville. We had it narrowed down to a few and we wanted to go ahead and get this taken care of before the babies arrive and the move. Mark's parents stopped on their way to Betsy's to check them out (thanks so much!) and we went with this one! It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath (plus office) 2486 sq ft

Mark surprised me with a tree! I woke up one morning and he had put it up during the night! Thanks, honey!! It turned out beautiful :)

Another appointment with good news! The babies bios were good and they are gaining weight! Still maintaining a 3 oz difference.

We saw the doctor again this week - all good news :) They didn't weigh the babies this week because their weights were so good last time.

We started a our Welcoming Baby Class this week at the Resiliency Center here on Post. Learned lots of great info and watched a birth video - yikes! Next week we learn what to do when we bring the babies home!

It's Official...

Mark has received orders for a PCS (Permanent Change of Station) to Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL!! We are so excited to be moving back down south and so much closer to family and friends. We have really missed seeing everyone! Since Mark will be attending school for the first 7 months of the assignment, it looks like we might be there for about 3 to 4 years.

We are hoping to move mid February of 2014, so that is coming up soon! We have started looking for housing over the internet and hope to find something nice.

We had a great appointment with the Perinatologist today!  Both have gained lots of weight! Baby B has closed the gap and now they are only 3oz apart!! Great news!! Heart, brain, and bladder are all looking good. Everything is looking good. :) Still no signs of TTTS - which is good. The doctor said we are probably out of the woods with the TTTS.

New Minivan

So, we have taken the plunge and become minivan owners! We got a new Town and Country - and so far I love it! Lots of fun extras and convenient features for the twins :)
